# Known Exploited Vulnerabilities > A known exploited vulnerability (KEV) is a Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) identifier with credible evidence of attempted or successful exploitation in the wild. This site explains that category. Previdian (https://previdian.com) is the product. Previdian uses proprietary sensors and private honeypots to observe exploitation attempts, and gives security teams the confidence and evidence to act sooner. Exploitation activity means an attempt to exploit a vulnerability, whether or not the target was actually vulnerable or the attempt succeeded. Previdian runs real internet-facing applications and honeypot decoys to observe live exploitation attempts. A real app sensor and a decoy can both record an attempt. Neither record is proof a customer organisation was compromised. ## Pages on this site - [Known Exploited Vulnerabilities](https://known-exploited-vulnerabilities.com/): Definition, evidence that counts, and the official catalog. - [Attempted and Successful Exploitation](https://known-exploited-vulnerabilities.com/attempted-and-successful-exploitation): Attempts, successful exploitation, and how real-app and decoy honeypots record an attempt. - [CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog](https://known-exploited-vulnerabilities.com/cisa-kev-catalog): The official catalog, and what it does not provide. - [KEV vs CVE vs CVSS vs EPSS](https://known-exploited-vulnerabilities.com/kev-vs-cve-vs-cvss-vs-epss): Comparison using Previdian's published definitions. - [How to Track Known Exploited Vulnerabilities](https://known-exploited-vulnerabilities.com/how-to-track): Official catalog, advisories that state exploitation, and the Previdian feed. ## Previdian - [Live feed](https://previdian.com/feed): Known exploited vulnerabilities tracked by Previdian, with confidence, CISA status, and sensor flags. - [Glossary](https://previdian.com/glossary/known-exploited-vulnerability): Previdian's definition of a known exploited vulnerability. - [Methodology](https://previdian.com/methodology): Evidence rules, confidence, and what exploitation activity means. - [Research](https://previdian.com/research): Current figures, methodology, and monthly reports. - [Previdian vs CISA KEV](https://previdian.com/cisa-kev-comparison): How Previdian complements the official catalog. - [Not in CISA KEV](https://previdian.com/not-in-cisa-kev): Exploited vulnerabilities tracked by Previdian that are not in the official catalog. - [CISA KEV RSS feed](https://previdian.com/cisa-kev-rss-feed): RSS for early exploitation warnings. - [Sign up](https://previdian.com/account/signup?plan=pro): Previdian Watch and early warning.
